The Samsung TV Selector is a app which potential customers can view TV information such as features, benefits and specifications. My role was to design the front end interface and the user experience of the app than working with developers to produce the app which was available to use at flagship retail stores and downloadable at the Google Play store. From a UX/UI point of view, we had to understand what the user wanted in a TV. Apart from the obvious like size, we had to find out what other features the buyer wanted. Features such a 3D, Curved or Smart TV ( or Internet enabled TV), we had to design a interface so the user can easily find the TV for there needs. So I created a menu on the left with a collapsing menu with the first menu was for screen size, the second menu was for resolution and the final menu was for features. When you selected your preferred options, the TV boxes (in the main area) would work like a masonry display where the TV not part of your search results would disappear. When you selected your TV, a pop up window would appear with more information about the TV but also an option where you can email or text yourself or a friend about the TV you wish to buy.
